Wool is a wonderful all-natural fill material that's sustainable, renewable and biodegradable. Wool also has characteristics that are beneficial.  Because wool absorbs moisture, it keeps the area dry and dust mites don't like it.  Dust mites want a moist and warm environment so they naturally stay away from wool. Is wool filling cheaper than polyester fill and 'alternative down' fill?  No, but it's better for you and the planet.  Polyester filling takes hundreds of years to decompose and creates micro-plastics that pollute our oceans and the environment.
